Pulse Donates Medical Management Solution to Heartspring
Wichita, KS – In keeping up with technology and the rising cost of serving children with special needs, Pulse has partnered with Heartspring by donating and implementing their cutting edge medical management solution, Pulse Patient Relationship Management.
For over seventy years, Heartspring has served children with disabilities in the Wichita area. Pulse’s generous donation allows Heartspring children to benefit from an increased level of customer service. New software capabilities include scheduling and organizing daily therapies, intervention, evaluations and appointments more efficiently. Further benefits include the ability to keep integrated medical treatment records for Heartspring clients, long-term medical records security, and increased outcome tracking.
While this is not the first time non-profit and for-profit organizations have joined together to meet community needs, this relationship marks the beginning of a long-term Heartspring effort to involve local businesses in special education and signifies Pulse’s role as an active community leader.
“Pulse recognizes Heartspring for its dedication and expertise in helping children with special needs from Wichita and around the world. Our contribution and partnership with Heartspring solidifies our commitment and support of the Wichita community in which Pulse has its roots and its headquarters” said Basil Hourani, President of Pulse.
“In a time of accelerating costs in teaching children with special needs and the increasing demand for successful outcomes, the Pulse Patient Relationship Management system will give us the tools to better pursue our goals of creating greater independence for our kids. At Heartspring, we are constantly seeking community partners, like Pulse, to get involved in helping our kids and supporting our mission,” said Bob Harbison, Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
