PulsePro and Apple iPad Improve Practice Workflow for Client
Pulse announces the implementation of PulsePro for the Apple® iPad™ at Heartland Surgical Associates. The compatibility of Pulse and the iPad benefits practitioners by offering the full functionality of the Pulse EHR solutionon an easy-to-use mobile device. Physicians can now use the iPad to instantly access the complete patient chart, quickly complete diagnosis and follow-up tasks, order prescriptions, faxes, and more.
Heartland Surgical Associates is a Kansas City-based practice comprised of four surgeons with more than 50 years of combined experience specializing in general and laparoscopic surgery. The practice has used tablets since 2006, but the iPad’s intuitive user interface combined with its low cost, long battery life and visual clarity makes it an exceptional choice. “The Pulse software is extremely easy to use and view on the iPad, has better clarity, and is much faster than our current tablets,” said Dr. Wittek.
Basil Hourani, CEO and President of Pulse said, “The Pulse mission has always been to provide our clients with improved ambulatory practice workflow automation. Offering the PulsePro solution on the revolutionary new iPad provides speed and flexibility to the physician’s workflow. Overall, this supplies physicians with an easier way to achieve Meaningful Use and receive government incentive funds.”
